Hello Strangers,
NIOBE: She is Life dropped today. It is November 4th. Good times to be had at Stranger Comics.
We are excited, humbled, and a little overwhelmed at the outpouring of love for NIOBE: She is Life. I’m sure a lot of it has to do with the fact we have the amazing talents of Amandla Stenberg (Hunger Games) and Ashley A. Woods (Millennia War) who have proved to be a dynamic team, alongside Stranger’s CEO Sebastian A. Jones (The Untamed) and CCO Darrell May (Dusu). Since announcing in HUFFINGTON POST it seems the world has taken notice with articles from TEEN VOGUE, PEOPLE, INDIE WIRE, MTV, BUZZFEED, THE FADER, and THE ROOT to name a few. My Mum from back home in England even saw the post in THE DAILY TELEGRAPH.
We have also signed icon Markus Prime to do variant covers of our book to accompany the ever awesome Hyoung Taek Nam!
We have had our mini promo tour with stops at Rose City Comic Con, Baltimore Comic Con, New York Comic Con and most recently Stan Lee’s Comikaze in Los Angeles. Check our Facebook and Instagram for photos. To celebrate our launch we will be signing at Cool Cats Comics and Cards this November 4th and this Saturday is our OFFICIAL LAUNCH PARTY at HI DE HO COMICS in Santa Monica which promises to be off the charts! Live Henna by Leticia M Studios and Live Tee Shirt Press by The HIT + RUN squad! Food trucks by The Pudding Truck and The Hurricane. It promises to be a special night with special guests.
Not only that it seems in many shops we sold out of our PreOrders but keep bugging the stores so they will reorder. Our distributor has ordered from us so we should be ALL GOOD!
And lastly, we have our books ready for digital. So go ahead and grab yourself a copy of NIOBE: She is Life (As well as THE UNTAMED, where she first appears, and DUSU: Path of the Ancient which is all tied in to her world of ASUNDA).
